Fritids- og Juniorklubben VIKA seeks an engaged educator for our learning environment Sport and Movement.

If you would like to use sport and movement to create great experiences, strong relationships and communities for children and young people? Who are we?

Club VIKA is part of Fritidscenter Brønshøj-Husum and is a leisure offer for children and young people aged 10-14.

We place emphasis on creating an exciting and varied club daily life, where children and young people meet engaged adults and have the opportunity to explore interests, develop and become part of meaningful communities.

With us there is room for different interests and ideas, and we work with a wide range of learning environments, where children and the young can both immerse themselves, be challenged and try something new.

About the position

You will become part of our learning environment Sport and Movement, where you together with a colleague will be responsible for creating activities that engage and bring together children and young people.

We have a large hall, access to Husum Boldklub's football pitches and good opportunities to use the town and the nature around us. Today we offer among other things football, basketball, panna, dodgeball, skateboard, roller skating and much more.

But we are at least as interested in what you can bring with you!

We are not necessarily looking for an expert in specific sports, but an educator who wants to be active, take initiative and use sport and movement as a path to wellbeing, development and community.

At the same time you will be part of the club's everyday life, where relationship work, collaboration and engagement with the children and the young are at least as important as the activities.

• Are educated as a pedagogue or have another relevant education.
• Want to work with sport and movement and can engage children and young people in activities.
• Are good at building relationships and have an eye for how everyone can become part of the community.
• Are proactive, curious and want to contribute with your own ideas.
• Thrive in a lively club daily life where we both plan, collaborate and seize the opportunities that arise.

Practical information

• The position is 35 hours per week with an annual norm.
• You should expect at least one weekly evening shift until 8 PM as well as participation in events and camps outside normal opening hours.
• Salary and employment terms follow BUPL's collective agreement.
• Starting date: January 1, 2027 or as soon after as possible.
