Do you want to lead the way in building pricing as a commercial discipline at Energi Fyn?

Do you have experience with pricing from pricing strategy and analysis to implementation and impact follow-up? And are you motivated by taking on a large professional responsibility to build and develop the area across Energi Fyn? Then you may be our new Pricing Manager. As Pricing Manager you will have the professional responsibility for building and driving pricing across Energi Fyn.

The area is under development, and you will therefore have a large professional mandate to set the direction for our price strategy and develop the principles, models and methods that will form a common framework for our price decisions.

You will work autonomously with data and models and analyze, among other things, prices, margins, customer behavior, competition and profitability. You translate your analyses into scenarios, business cases and clear recommendations that can be used in concrete commercial decisions.

An important part of the role is also to monitor the effect of implemented price changes, commercial initiatives and investments. You create transparency about how decisions affect, among other things, customers, volume, churn, competitive strength and earnings, and use the learnings to continuously strengthen our approach to pricing.

You work closely with the organization’s Product Managers and Finance and become a professional sparring partner for both the business and the management. Here you help to qualify decisions with a view to customer needs, the market and the economic consequences.

Your tasks include

• Develop and implement pricing strategies and models
• Analyze prices, margins, price elasticity, customer behavior, competition and profitability
• Prepare scenarios and recommendations for concrete price and portfolio decisions
• Prepare business cases and decision papers for commercial investments and development initiatives with assessment of potential, economy, risks and expected effects
• Establish systematic impact follow-up on implemented price changes and other commercial decisions
• Advise Product Managers and management on prices, margins, profitability and related commercial opportunities and risks

Are you our new colleague? We imagine that you have a relevant advanced education in economics or business, e.g., cand.merc., cand.oecon. or similar. In addition, you have several years of relevant experience with pricing, revenue management, commercial finance or a related field.

As a person, you work analytically and structurally and are curious about what lies behind the numbers. You have the ability to go into depth with complex problems and lift your gaze so that the analyses are translated into relevant commercial recommendations.

You are also a strong professional sparring partner. You communicate complex issues clearly, stand by your assessments and dare to challenge existing assumptions and approaches when data and analyses point in a different direction.

We imagine that you

• Have practical experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies and price models across products, customer segments and/or sales channels
• Have solid experience with price and profitability analyses, scenario analyses and impact calculations
• Have a strong business understanding and experience with business cases and commercial trade-offs
• Can work independently with complex datasets and translate analyses into clear recommendations and decision briefs
• Understand the connection between price, product, customer, competition and earnings
• Are an experienced user of Excel and have practical experience with BI and data tools

It is an advantage if you have experience from energy or other complex and regulated industries where price-, product- and customer economics are central disciplines.
