Job Description

Løgstør School is located in the northern part of Vesthimmerland Municipality with a wonderful view of the Limfjord, where there is plenty of room to learn and be for both children and adults – a place where all children are everyone's responsibility. Løgstør School has 2 streams from 0th to 9th grade, as well as an AKT department with pupils from 0nd–10th grade. On a daily basis, 400 pupils and 55 staff members bring the school to life with a focus on strong and inclusive communities as well as learning.

Løgstør School has a strategy that sets the direction for the pedagogical work for everyone at Løgstør School. The strategy states that the children's well-being, academic and social development are the core tasks for everyone. We work with inclusion that creates social and learning communities for all children regardless of age, competencies, family, social and cultural backgrounds and needs.

We invest in good relationships and clear classroom management, where we create safe frameworks for all children and their parents. We maintain a good and properly toned communication with all our children, where we set a good example through exemplary behavior and communication.

In AKT, the children's daily life is very structured, and there are children who need clear, caring and understanding adults they can count on. Adults who will support them and who are willing to take creative approaches to solving tasks. The teaching is planned based on each individual's level, starting from the needs of the individual pupil in order to be able to complete the teaching.

We are seeking either a mathematics teacher for our early years in AKT or a science teacher (physics) also for AKT. Can you see yourself with us in one of the positions?

Working hours may vary from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

We are looking for a teacher for our AKT department who

• Has major subject in mathematics or science subjects (physics) and possibly physical education
• Can reflect on the pupil's difficulties and learning – so the pupil achieves academic, personal and social development.
• Has special educational insight, knowledge and tools, and preferably with experience in the area
• Is a clear adult.
• Is flexible in their approach to work.
• Is humorous by nature, and has a good smile.
• dares to challenge and bounce ideas with the team about the core task.
• Can contribute to the written – pupil plans, action plans etc.
• Has good collaboration skills with colleagues, parents and other partners.
• Wants to be part of a development-oriented school culture, where we go the whole way to ensure the students' learning and well-being are optimal.

There is a permanent position for up to 37 hours.
