About the job

Can you drive strategic and complex organizational projects to successful completion with a focus on business value creation? Do you want to contribute to creating changes and shaping the future of the education sector, among other things through digitalization at the country’s largest university? Then you might be our new colleague.

University of Copenhagen (CU) is a modern workplace in rapid development. A new organization of our administration took effect in 2025 and is to be implemented over the coming years. The aim is, among other things, to ensure efficient common workflows for the benefit of our students, teachers and partners. In line with this, a number of organizational projects must be realized to support a more efficient and cohesive administration across the university.

Digitalization in CU Education is seeking an engaged and professionally skilled project manager to lead important organizational projects that will lift and improve CU’s support for the examination area.

About us

CU Education is CU’s central unit for a coherent education area. We set direction and create common solutions for the benefit of our programs and students. We work, among other things, to ensure that CU’s students have the best opportunities to realize their potential in programs of high international quality and relevance.

You will be working in the Digitalization section in CU Education, which has the digital support of CU’s education as its core task. The section is responsible for around 25 systems within the education area, which form the framework for teaching, administration and planning of CU’s programs. Through these systems, courses are offered, grades are registered, enrollments are handled, exams are conducted, etc. In addition, we drive digitization projects in the education sector and are responsible for ensuring efficient cross-cutting study administration processes.

In our task, we place a strong emphasis on collaboration with the three campus administrations (Frederiksberg+, Nørre and Søndre), which handle the daily support of the academic environments, as well as our collaboration across sections in CU Education and with other corporate units in university administration.

About the position

You will be responsible for independently project managing important organizational projects that will lift and improve CU’s education area. It will be you as the project manager who leads the day-to-day management of the project and coordinates collaboration with the working group and steering group with reference to the project owner.

In Digitalization in CU Education we place emphasis on a strong professional community and mutual sparring. You will therefore join the project manager forum, which is a community for project managers in Digitalization with a focus on project professionalism and a safe place where there is an opportunity to discuss experiences, tools and methods. As a project manager you will collaborate with a wide stakeholder landscape, just as you will work closely with your other colleagues in Digitalization; system owners and process managers. You will naturally receive a thorough introduction to your new tasks.
