Hvide Sande School seeks a dedicated teacher or student teacher for a maternity leave substitute

We are seeking a teacher or teacher trainee for a maternity leave cover for an initial period of about six months .

About us

Hvide Sande School has about 276 pupils from 0–9 and around 50 dedicated staff.

We are a school with ambitions, humor and a strong sense of community. We are at the same time in an exciting development, where we bring the whole school together at Skolevej 2 and create new shared frameworks for learning and well-being.

Our pedagogical direction is A school for all , where good relationships, professional excellence and community are at the center.

About the position

You will be part of the teaching in the middle years and in the upper secondary. The timetable mainly includes:

• Mathematics in 4th and 8th grade
• English and German in 6th grade
• Physical Education in the middle years and in the upper secondary
• Other teaching and team tasks

We are looking for someone who wants to teach, is a clear adult and can build good relationships with students and colleagues.

You do not need to be able to do it all! We are open to different subject combinations, and both qualified teachers and student teachers are very welcome to apply.

Practical information

Employment: Maternity leave cover, initially about six months.

Working hours: Generally 80%, but we are open to a lower contract percentage if it better fits your daily life and situation.
