At SPUC we are looking for a clear, competent and engaged social pedagogue for one of our 24-hour care facilities, the residences Vinkeldamsvej 12-19. Here you will become part of an experienced team where professionalism, relationships and community go hand in hand.

A daily life with time for presence

We work in full and half-day shifts, primarily 13- and 24-hour shifts with overnight sleeping on duty and every other weekend. The longer shifts provide good opportunities for presence, immersion and continuity in the relationships.

In the residences Vinkeldamsvej 12-19 there live 8 adult people with developmental disabilities who need support, guidance and help in different parts of daily life. Our goal is to support the individual in living as independent, meaningful and good a life as possible.

We base our work on the residents' insider-perspective, their wishes, experiences and resources and work curious and reflective with our educational practice.

We are in professional development

We are in the process of implementing LA2U as a common method and are therefore looking for a colleague who wants to learn, ask questions and help develop our shared practice. You don't need to be an expert; curiosity and engagement are the most important.

• are a trained social educator with a solid professional foundation
• have an interest in working with adults with developmental disabilities
• are focused on the residents' insider perspective and want to base your work on their resources and wishes
• can take initiative for meaningful pedagogical activities
• contribute actively to a strong and respectful collegial community
• are stable, reliable and see continuity as important for both residents and colleagues
• have good IT skills and view documentation as a natural part of the job
• are keen on professional reflection, knowledge sharing and development
• thrive with 13- and 24-hour shifts, sleeping on duty and every other weekend.
• have a driver's license and can drive our minibuses/vehicles

Salary and terms of employment

We have varying day/evening shifts and also work weekends/holidays.

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between SL and KL.

About the Social Pedagogical Development Center

The residences Vinkeldamsvej 12-19 belong to the municipal organization Socialpædagogisk Udviklingscenter (SPUC).

SPUC provides support under the Social Services Act § 83 and § 85. Social-pedagogical support and guidance are provided in housing communities, 24-hour residences and the activity center Liv, which is a leisure facility under the Social Services Act § 79. The target group is adult citizens with reduced mental and physical functioning.

There are about 50 employees involved in the tasks, organized in self-managing teams
