Education consultant for health professions and pedagogical education programs in Holbæk Municipality

About the position

You will become part of the education team in HR, which besides you consists of four colleagues and an apprentice. HR is part of the cross-functional Development, IT and Communications team. We offer a diverse position with close collaboration in the team, a broad contact surface and good opportunities to put your professional knowledge to use and influence development across the education areas.

Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for the educations for pedagogical assistant, social and health care (SOSU), nurse, social worker and pedagog. You will become an important link between students and learners, managers, counselors, educational institutions and other partners. You must therefore be able to work across education areas, create coherence and contribute to common solutions – while having a view for the individual education’s special needs and frameworks.

The tasks range from daily administration and coordination to development of the education area. You therefore need to thrive with both operational tasks, complex pupil- and education matters, as well as strategic development tasks. You will also have the opportunity to bring in your own experiences and competences and help shape the way we work with education in Holbæk Municipality.

Your primary tasks

• coordinate and administer education and training programs
• advise and support apprenticeship supervisors, pupils and students
• handle meetings and cases about among other things absence, well-being, training and retention
• collaborate with educational institutions and other external partners
• contribute to recruitment and onboarding and support stable and well-planned education pathways for pupils and students
• support quality and development in apprenticeship and internship programs
• follow developments in the education area and translate new requirements and initiatives into practice
• contribute to developing the education area, including workflows, collaborations and initiatives that strengthen quality, recruitment and retention
• create coherence between the education effort and work in the organization’s other departments

The tasks are carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, and the exact task distribution will depend on your experiences and competencies. You will receive close professional sparring with the team coordinator and the other consultants in the team.

You will have a high degree of autonomy in task execution while being part of a team where we help each other, share knowledge and find solutions together.

We imagine that you

• have a relevant health care, pedagogical or other relevant education. Perhaps you have supplemented your professional background with a relevant continuing education and have experience within the education area
• have knowledge of vocational education and preferably experience working with pupils and students in a municipal organization
• can handle complex pupil- and education matters with both expertise, calm and respect
• can facilitate meetings and instruction for apprenticeship supervisors, practical supervisors, clinical supervisors as well as pupils and students within the health and/or pedagogical area
• work in a structured manner and can keep an overview of many simultaneous education programs
• communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing
• have strong collaboration skills and can build trustful relationships across disciplines and organizational levels
• are development-oriented, but also have a focus on safe operation and correct administration
• are an engaged team player who actively contributes to collaboration, while also working independently, taking responsibility and following tasks through to completion

It is advantageous if you have experience from a municipality or another larger organization, and it is a prerequisite that you have knowledge of working with education, internships or apprenticeship. However, the most important is that you want to bring your professional expertise into play and develop the area together with us.

The education team is part of HR in Holbæk Municipality. We work closely together to create good frameworks for pupils and students and to ensure that the education effort supports the municipality’s need for competent staff.

Practical information

The position is 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027. The workplace is Holbæk Town Hall, Kanalstræde 2, 4300 Holbæk.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement and principles of local salary setting.
