At the teacher education program at the Copenhagen University College of Education (KP) we are at full speed in implementing and developing teacher education in light of the latest reform, which came into force in August 2023.
Currently, we are well underway with an inclusive process where we take stock of our experiences to develop and strengthen the coherence, quality and progression of teacher education for the students. We are focused on strengthening the connection for the student throughout the education as well as in relation to the teaching profession and the school. At the same time, we focus on supporting and further developing professional communities for students, teachers/employees and the management.
We are seeking educational leaders who have experience with professional and pedagogical leadership and the courage to set the framework and direction for the community and create room for involvement and participation.

In addition, we imagine that you
- Have experience in leading teachers and knowledge workers at an educational institution
- Have knowledge of primary school, the teaching profession and the competencies demanded by our stakeholders
- Are committed to the task of developing a good teacher education and are good at involving and engaging students, staff and partners in development
- Have competencies to participate in building new professional environments around the newly started professional master’s programs
- Are focused on educational development, including strengthening the interaction between teaching, development and research
- Are a clear leader who can set a direction and justify your decisions while listening and giving space for joint reflection
