About the job

Gartnervænget, Udsatte & Rusmidler, is seeking a pedagogue and a social- and health care assistant for a residential facility under §§107/108 in permanent positions as of 1/1-2027 and a maternity-leave replacement as of 1/2-2027.

The positions are 37 hours per week, in mixed shifts with weekends every other weekend. Shifts are primarily day and evening shifts, but night shifts may occur.

Gartnervænget is a municipal residential facility for people with addiction, in accordance with the Social Services Act §§107 & 108. Gartnervænget has room for 15 residents and is located on the beautiful Saxenhøj estate.

Gartnervænget is a department in Vulnerable People & Substance Abuse, which falls under the Center for Wellbeing & Social Intervention.

Gartnervænget is a licensed residential facility for citizens with mental and/or social problems, often combined with an active addiction. We are a facility that both houses and accepts residents’ misuse. If treatment is desired, we offer support.

In Gartnervænget we are a total of 18 staff, of which 4 are night shifts. Our professional group consists of pedagogues, social- and health care assistants, social- and health care helpers and care assistants.

We are part of an organization with about 220 employees who help each other, and four times a year we meet for joint staff meetings and other exciting initiatives.

We work from Per Revstedt’s motivation method as well as a Recovery- and rehabilitative approach.

We focus on the core task: “To support the citizen in mastering their own life and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in relevant communities.”

We work from an educational approach where relationships, presence and meaningful communities are central.

We base our work on the residents’ resources, interests and wishes for their daily life and quality of life.

The common third is an important part of our pedagogical practice, just as residents’ participation and self-determination are central values in our work.

We aim to support the residents’ wishes and needs, which means that as professionals we are curious, listening and aware of how we create frames that allow space for the individual and for the community.

We work based on the adult diagnostic method with starting point in residents’ action goals.

We offer

A workplace with self-direction and shared responsibility for daily life.

High professional level and broad interdisciplinary collaboration.

A high degree of delegation of responsibilities and tasks.

Variation in everyday life – no two days are the same.

Education in Per Revstedt’s motivation method.

Regular supervision.

We are looking for you, who

Would preferably have experience in the psychiatric and/or social field.

Are motivated to work with residents’ development – and to collaborate across professional boundaries.

Can work in a sometimes chaotic daily life where there is a need for initiative and overview.

Have knowledge of IT, preferably KMD Nexus.

Have good communication skills and can contribute to a trusting and safe daily life, both for residents and colleagues.

Driver’s license is an advantage.

For our upcoming health-care colleague, we are looking for you who wishes to take part in health-care tasks such as medical consultations, updating FMK, administering depot medications etc.

You may relay health-care knowledge to pedagogical colleagues. You may be or wish to become a supervisor for SSA students.
