About us

Sydbo is a housing and activity service located in Stenstrup in Svendborg Municipality. The housing and activity service is located on the same site.

Here, 24 adults can live, currently we have residents aged 22-76, all of whom have a permanently reduced physical and mental function and are assessed under the Social Services Act § 104, § 107 and § 108.

We work with a fixed structure where predictability and recognition are central elements. The framework is based on each citizen’s development level, needs and resources. Common to all citizens is a large need for specialized professional knowledge and an individually adapted approach.

We work systematically from the citizens’ goals, so milestones, development and rehabilitation go hand in hand.

In 2025, we began a larger professional upskilling, where everyone is trained to use LA2U in practice, which will also become Sydbo’s shared professional stance.

The job

As a pedagogue or pedagogical assistant in our activity offering you will be an important part of the citizens’ everyday life.

You will work closely with the citizens on activities, relationships and community. It can range from creative activities, music, sensory experiences and outings to practical tasks, exercise or other activities based on each citizen’s interests and resources.

We are looking for

A permanent 35-hour week. Working hours are 8:30–15:30 Monday–Friday.

Salary and employment

In Svendborg Municipality, the pay for this type of position typically ranges from DKK 33,892 to 50,075 per month for full-time employment. The salary includes pension, special holiday pay and fixed allowances. There may also be shift allowances and other special remunerations. It is important to note that your concrete salary is determined based on your experience, seniority and competencies and is negotiated with the relevant trade union.
