Educator sought for Børnehuset Sangfuglen in Gedsted

A singing-loving educator for 32-37 hours per week.

We are seeking a singing-loving educator from December 1 or January 1 for 32-37 hours per week.

We currently have 20 children in the toddler group and 35 children in the kindergarten. It is a lovely diverse group of children that will surely bring you both joy and challenges. Sangfuglen is part of Gedsted School and LBO. The LBO section houses both the toddler group, kindergarten, SFO and club. We have an engaged group of parents, and in addition a close collaboration with the school.

Børnehuset Sangfuglen is a certified singing-loving institution under Sangens Hus in Herning. We are therefore looking for an educator who loves to sing and who, for example, is willing to lead a singing session with our children. The toddler group is included in Sangglad Mini.

You must take responsibility for planning the pedagogical work around the children together with your closest colleagues.

Gedsted is located in a scenic natural area and we also have good outdoor facilities, so it would be fantastic if you are also an outdoorsy person! We enjoy cycling trips in the local area.

Our pedagogical approach is based on ICDP, KIDS, The strengthened pedagogical framework and Strong inclusive communities , so knowledge of these would be an advantage . We work from an appreciative view of the child and want attentive adults around the children. We focus on the educator as a role model and guide for each child.

We place emphasis on creating a safe and developing everyday life for the children, where the relationships between the children and between children and adults are central. We therefore need you to be empathetic and good at being present and curious about the child’s perspective. You also need to be good at playing, as it is primarily through play that children develop. Good play and learning environments with inviting toys and play areas are one of our focus areas.
