About the job

Would you like to be part of creating the moments children remember?

At Hulahoppen we are looking for a pedagogue for our nursery who wants to make a difference through presence, professionalism, play and strong relationships.

We believe that children develop best together with adults who engage, follow the children’s lead and dare to put themselves into the situation. Therefore we are seeking a pedagogue who can inspire children through active participation in play, communities and the many small and large moments of everyday life.

The position is a permanent role of 37 hours per week with start date 1 December 2026, or as soon as possible.

Hulahoppen is a self-governing integrated day institution in Vojens with space for up to 136 children distributed across 8 rooms, including 4 nursery groups.

Who are we?

At Hulahoppen we work purposefully to create learning environments where children experience safety, opportunities to participate, community and development.

We believe that good pedagogy exists both in play, activities and in everyday routines. Meals, cloakroom situations, putting children to bed and transitions are just as meaningful as the planned activities, because it is often here that relationships, independence and well-being develop.

We work in small teams around the children and have close collaboration across the building. At the same time we are focused on reflection, feedback and joint development of our pedagogical practice. With us you will encounter a workplace characterised by professional curiosity, shared responsibility, trust, humor and job satisfaction.

We are looking for someone who,

  • is a trained pedagog
  • has insight into the development of the young child and early childhood education
  • meets children, parents and colleagues with an appreciative and resource-oriented approach
  • can translate professional knowledge into practice and contribute to the development of quality in everyday life. You see value in systematic evaluation and in developing both your own and colleagues’ professionalism through feedback and shared reflection
  • wants to actively participate in play, relationships and communities
  • can take leadership of learning environments and daily life in the child group
  • works with the children’s perspectives, interests and needs as a starting point
  • can communicate your professionalism both orally and in writing
  • can see yourself working according to our child view and pedagogical curriculum.

We offer

  • a workplace with high professionalism and a focus on development
  • engaged and helpful colleagues
  • a strong sense of community with room for diversity
  • having influence and responsibility in task solving
  • a working environment characterised by trust, humor and job satisfaction
  • opportunity to help develop both our feedback culture and pedagogical practice.

Here you can read more about our view of children and our pedagogical curriculum.

Open house

On 9 November 2026 at 16:30 there will be an open house for interested applicants, where there will be an opportunity to see our building and hear more about our everyday practice. Registration is required to the head of institution at telephone 21 99 31 27.

Further information

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the head of institution, Joan Lassen, at telephone 21 99 31 27.
