We are looking for an educator who…

• is passionate about creating presence, well-being and meaningful communities.
• is curious, creative and would like to come up with new activities that make everyday life interesting and at the same time ensure development or maintenance of the resident's functional level.
• Can formulate clear goals and actions in writing.
• wants to join a multidisciplinary team where we pull together.
• wants to help the resident with personal hygiene, in dining situations, with medicine etc., while also using your education and professional background from pedagogy.

Riis Friplejehjem – a home and a good workplace

We are part of Danske Diakonhjem and work from the values of closeness, care, inclusivity and individuality, joie de life and community. With us the residents' life stories and wishes are in focus – and we make a virtue of creating home-like environments where life is lived and daily life has meaning.

Riis Friplejehjem is a newly renovated nursing home with space for 40 residents - spread over 2 floors. We have a wide age range among residents, who are different residents with their own needs, and some are physically care-demanding residents with a psychiatric overlay.

We attach great importance to it being a home for all our residents – while there must be room for the individual. We have our own kitchen and both residents and staff meet daily for cozy gatherings around meals.

We have a large hall for communal activities, where the activity staff arranges different activities for the residents. Volunteers and social circle also play an active role in daily life

We respect each other's differences and among staff we place great value on openness - honesty and dialogue – and humor is part of our daily life.

We are a home where relatives should feel welcome, and where they will experience themselves as part of the home. By virtue of being a private assisted-living home, relatives also have the opportunity to participate in daily life to the extent they have the opportunity and desire.

About the positions and the benefits

• Working hours can be agreed, but we imagine 30-37 hours/week
• The working hours are mixed day/evening, primarily day shifts
• We work every other weekend in a fixed team, eventually every third weekend
• Health insurance, which among other things offers physiotherapist, chiropractor etc.
• A delicious meal scheme for a small amount
• We have wellbeing ambassadors and offer joint gymnastics/exercise several times a week
• Salary and employment according to applicable collective agreement

Danske Diakonhjem is the country’s largest private actor within nursing homes and private assisted-living homes. Currently we have 45 homes and just over 3,000 employees.
