Electrical designer for sustainable automation solutions – Orbital in Skjern

Your tasks and role

As an electrical designer you will be a central player in the automation department, where you will have the opportunity to follow the projects all the way – from customer dialogue and design to completion and commissioning. You will have a varied daily life with great freedom and direct contact with customers, who often have unique needs. Since production is under the same roof, you have a unique opportunity to spar with the technicians and follow the development of your projects.

Your primary tasks will include

• Independent responsibility for customer projects, including, among other things, preparation of offers
• Close customer contact and technical sparring – both online and on-site
• Design and dimensioning of control panels, as well as documentation work and commissioning (FAT and SAT)
• Electrical CAD drawing in PCSCHEMATIC
• Provide customer support, by phone, online or on-site

If you desire even more variety, you also have the opportunity to dive deeper into PLC programming where programming is mainly done in Siemens and Schneider.

There may be travel days, though a maximum of 20 per year and a maximum of one week at a time.

About you

We imagine that you have a background as a power electronics technician, electrical installer, automation engineer, automation technologist or similar. You have experience with electrical design, preferably from the automation or energy sector. It is a plus if you are curious about or have knowledge of green energy, battery technology or similar.
