Project Engineer

About the position

As a project engineer at Init you will have a varied daily life, where you work with tailor-made automation solutions for customers in many different industries. You will become part of a small department in Nørresundby with a short path from idea to action. It gives you an autonomous role with great flexibility and responsibility for your own projects. At the same time you have a larger organization behind you and can draw on professional knowledge and experience across Init.

You drive your service projects all the way – from troubleshooting and clarifying needs to solution, testing and handover. Along the way you are an important sparring partner for the customers and will work with different technologies.

Your tasks include, among others

• Design, programming and implementation of PLC-, HMI- and possibly SCADA-solutions
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and optimization of existing programs and equipment
• Development and documentation of technical descriptions.

About you

We are looking for you who have a background as an electrician – possibly supplemented with a degree as a mechanical engineer or automation technologist. You have 3+ years of experience with PLC programming from a similar position and experience with either Siemens TIA Portal or Rockwell.

• Are self-driven, structured and responsible
• Have experience in driving smaller projects and tasks independently
• Have experience from machine builders, the supply industry or industry
• Can keep an overview when tasks and priorities change
• Communicate confidently in Danish and English with colleagues, customers and suppliers
• Are willing to participate in commissioning and final handover to customers worldwide

Experience with S2 SCADA is an advantage, but not a requirement.
