Project Engineer

Do you have a background as an electrician and are you motivated by translating PLC programming into solid automation solutions that create value for the customer? Can you take responsibility for your own service projects and drive them to completion? Then you may be our new project engineer in Vrå.

At Init you get freedom with responsibility, close customer contact and a varied day-to-day with service projects from start to finish.

About the position

As a project engineer at Init you will have an independent and varied daily routine, where you work with service projects for our customers across different industries such as production, energy and aqua.

You will be in close dialogue with the customers and drive your service projects from start to finish – from troubleshooting and clarifying needs to solution, testing and delivery. You will become an important sparring partner for our customers and have the opportunity to work with different automation solutions and technologies.

Your tasks will include

• Design, programming and implementation of PLC-, HMI- and possibly SCADA-controlled solutions on process and machine installations
• Testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and optimization of existing programs and equipment
• Development and documentation of technical descriptions

About you

We imagine that you have a background as an electrician and a minimum of 3 years of experience with PLC programming from a similar role. Experience with Siemens TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley is a plus.

We emphasize that you

• Have experience in solving service tasks and driving smaller service projects independently
• Have experience with machine- and process installations in industry
• Are self-driven, structured and thrive with an independent daily routine
• Can communicate well in both Danish and English with colleagues, customers and suppliers

If you also have knowledge of SCADA or Fanuc, that is an advantage.
