Context

At SYSTRA we are in the middle of some of the Nordic region's most exciting projects within railway, power supply and infrastructure in general. Our solutions pave the way for a greener and more electrified future – e.g. when we advise on charging infrastructure for battery trains or optimize power supply for shore power installations for ships.

Right now we are strengthening our department, which is represented both in Aarhus and in Ørestad, in anticipation of new, large tasks – including modernization of transformer stations on the S-train network, electrification of railway lines or expansion of the high-voltage network. The variety is large, as our department handles all power engineering projects in the company and you are therefore not tied to one type of tasks.

Missions/Main Duties

About the job

In the Power Systems department we work with engineering and consulting on some of the industry's most significant infrastructure projects. You will become part of a strong professional environment with more than 40 colleagues who advise clients at both national and international levels, where technical quality, collaboration and knowledge sharing are at the core.

You will have a varied workday with tasks that can range between

• Sketch and detail design of low- and high-voltage installations
• Preliminary studies and technical input in projects
• Preparation of tender and bid material
• Client advisory and participation in design-build and supervision tasks
• Sizing of low-voltage installations, e.g. switchboards, lighting and cables
• Design of earthing and potential equalisation systems and other railway technical installations.

You will become part of a broad professional environment where sparring and collaboration are a natural part of the culture.

Profile/Skills

About you

We imagine that you

• Hold an engineering degree with electrical orientation, marine engineer or electrical installer
• Have at least 5 years of experience with the design of power systems or high-voltage installations in connection with rail, power supply or facilities
• Work independently, in a structured and goal-oriented way – and ensure quality in all deliverables
• Enjoy sharing knowledge and experience with colleagues
• Think in solutions and are ready to take on new challenges
• Have good cooperation skills and naturally help when needed
• Are curious and proactive regarding new projects and areas of work.
