To ensure quality in the work, employees participate in group supervision, conferences, as well as courses and training.

The positions involve rotating shifts, morning, evening, every other weekend, year round.

Løvstikken is part of the Center for Family and Adult Interventions.

Løvstikken receives children and young people under 23 years, as well as adults living at home with significant and lasting disabilities.

The institution consists of a 24-hour department for children and young people up to 23 years, as well as a respite department for children, young people and adults living at home up to 45 years.

As an employee it is expected that you

• Are able to work according to the adopted pedagogical development plans, while also providing care and support at a high level - based on the individual’s needs.
• Personal care, medication administration, use of assistive devices etc. will be part of the work.
• Can prepare status assessments and development plans and are good at expressing yourself both in writing and speech
• In close collaboration with parents, users, colleagues, external partners, you can plan, implement, and document pedagogical development processes.
• Can work both independently and in a team.
• Can use IT at user level - we use Cura.
• Can collaborate respectfully and professionally with parents and partners.
• Are engaged, flexible, reliable and physically and mentally robust.

Experience with children, youths and adults with permanent and extensive disabilities is advantageous but not required, and you will receive thorough training.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and based on local salary formation principles.

Criminal record checks for children and for criminal records will be obtained upon hire.

A category B - Standard car driver’s license is required.

The position is 37 hours per week.
