Employer Consultants for the Early Sickness Benefit Initiative at Jobcenter Silkeborg

At Jobcenter Silkeborg we are looking for two engaged and relation-building business consultants who are passionate about creating good matches between companies and citizens on sickness benefits. As a business consultant you will be the link between the citizen, the company and the other employees at the job center and will have a central role in creating solutions that take as a starting point both the citizen's competencies and the companies' needs.

About the position

You will become part of our new sickness benefit department, which handles the early sickness benefit efforts.

The department consists in total of 28 employees, of which 21 caseworkers/retention consultants and 4 business consultants, 2 team coordinators and a functional manager.

Your tasks

• Conversations with sick-listed individuals about mapping competencies and discussing industry/sector choice
• Proactively approaching local companies with a view to finding internships and part-time jobs
• Match citizens and companies with a focus on progression and return to work
• Follow up on company programs and ensure close dialogue between all parties
• Close collaboration with caseworkers
• Document efforts and results in the relevant professional systems
• Possibly facilitate workshops for sick-listed individuals

We expect that

• You are able to create a job-oriented focus in conversations with citizens, where you together can find job opportunities or support for a career change
• You have good communication and collaboration skills and can speak with sick-listed citizens who have physical or mental challenges
• You thrive in proactive outreach to companies
• You have a positive outlook and are attracted to a work environment that can be busy at times
• You are comfortable as a meeting facilitator and have a service-minded collaboration with companies
• You have a relevant educational background for working with people

It will be of great importance if you also have experience with

• The municipal employment effort
• Teaching, e.g., in topics such as CVs and job searching, competency clarification, energy management or stress management
• A particular target group, e.g., stress, anxiety and depression
• Recruitment
• Collaborating with companies on employee retention
• Building networks in the local business community

There are two permanent positions at 37 hours/week, of which one is an expanded position.

Salary and terms of employment are set according to the applicable collective agreement and the local pay-setting agreement.

In recent years we have focused on developing the quality of our conversations using the metacognitive method and the LØFT method. In addition we prioritize professional reflective sparring because we believe that learning, development and the best solutions are created in collaboration.

About Jobcenter Silkeborg, Job and Employment

Jobcenter Silkeborg, Job and Employment is one of two job centers in Silkeborg Municipality's Employment Department. In Job and Employment we handle authority-based case processing in sickness benefits, job clarification, insured unemployed and job-ready cash benefit recipients as well as flex job registrants. In addition, the Business Department and Jobcenter Support are organized within the center. Job and Employment employs 140 staff.
