We are seeking pedagogical staff for a maternity leave position at Føvling Child Center

Are you passionate about creating inspiring play communities, strong relationships and developmental learning environments for children aged 3-6 years?

At Føvling Child Center we believe that children develop best through play, curiosity and participation in communities. Therefore we are looking for an engaged and present pedagogical staff for a 35-hour-per-week maternity leave position, who wants to actively be a part of the children's play and everyday life.

About the position

You will become part of an engaged team where we work from a shared view that play is the foundation for children's well-being, development, learning and formation. We are therefore seeking an employee who can both follow the children's initiatives and take responsibility for creating meaningful play communities where all children feel they belong.

We imagine that you

• are a trained pedagogue, pedagogical assistant or have another relevant pedagogical background
• are passionate about working with children aged 3-6 years
• have a playful approach to pedagogical work and thrive on being actively involved in the children's play
• can create and support inclusive play communities
• are curious about the children's perspectives and follow their initiatives
• create safe and positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• work in an appreciative and inclusive manner
• take responsibility and contribute actively to the community
• are proactive and eager to develop the pedagogical practice together with us

Føvling Child Center is located in scenic surroundings in Vejen Municipality, where nature is an integral part of our pedagogical practice. We see nature as a large play space that invites imagination, movement, curiosity and communities. Therefore we actively use our outdoor areas year-round and create learning environments where play and curiosity are the driving forces.

Practical information

The position is a maternity leave role of 35 hours per week starting as soon as possible .

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Upon hire, a child certificate is obtained.
