Dagtilbud Gimle is looking for engaged, relationally strong and professionally curious pedagogues for both the kindergarten and the nursery. We are opening our fourth nursery room, and therefore we are looking for pedagogues who want to help create the physical spaces, shape daily life and set the direction for the pedagogical work in the new room. We are also looking for a pedagogue for our nursery, where presence, secure relationships and professional reflection are central.

Welcome to Gimle – a nursery in development

Dagtilbud Gimle opened in April 2026 and is part of Dagtilbud Højvangen. We are well underway in finding our shared rhythm, strengthening our culture and developing the best frame for children, parents and staff.

We believe that good childhoods are created by adults who are present, clear and curious about the children's perspectives. Adults who dare to play, wonder, reflect and adjust their practice when something calls for a new approach.

We are a nursery where there is room for laughter, play, immersion and professional discussions, and where we together take responsibility for all children to feel like meaningful participants in the community.

Our pedagogical stance

In Gimle and the rest of Dagtilbud Højvangen we have a shared pedagogical foundation that helps us develop quality and direction in our work.

We work, among other things, with

• Wellbeing and relationships as the foundation for children's learning, development and participation
• A view of childhood inspired by NEST:

• Co-governing adults who lead, stand beside and behind the children in play, and through presence, curiosity and engagement strengthen children's communities and relationships
• KVALid as a shared framework for quality in the pedagogical work, where reflection, professional dialogue and systematic approaches support the development of our learning environments
• A strong focus on professional collaboration, with a common language and a clear feedback culture, among other things with the basis in The Three

Who are you?

We are looking for a trained pedagogue who wants to bring both professionalism and personality into play. You don’t need to have all the answers in advance. Instead, we hope that you:

• Are present, clear and good at creating secure relationships with the children.
• See play as an important part of children’s wellbeing, development and learning – and are eager to participate yourself.
• Are curious about children’s perspectives and focused on how we create participation opportunities for all children.
• Want to take co-responsibility for structure, culture and pedagogical practice in a nursery in development.
• Thrive with clear boundaries, but can also follow the children’s initiatives and seize the opportunities that arise along the way.
• Have courage for professional reflection and dare to ask questions about both your own and the shared practice.
• Appreciate collaboration with colleagues and parents and actively contribute to a work community characterized by trust, humor and respect.

You may be newly qualified with lots of energy or an experienced pedagogue with a desire for new challenges. The most important thing is that you want to make a difference for the children and develop together with us.

Practical information

• We are seeking pedagogues for both the kindergarten and the nursery.
• Positions are 32–37 hours per week by agreement.
• Interviews are held continuously.
• Salary and terms of employment follow the applicable collective agreement.
• Starting in December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. We conduct interviews and hire continuously, so please send your application as soon as possible.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and terms of employment are set according to the applicable collective agreement, including the set provisions regarding local pay formation. In addition to base salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
