We are seeking a deputy head who has the desire and courage to engage in the daily pedagogical practice in the kindergarten, and at the same time be part of a leadership team with 6 weekly scheduled hours for leadership tasks.

All deputy heads in Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality are offered at minimum two relevant diploma modules in leadership.

Network Leadership

In Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality, the early childhood sector is organized with Network Leadership, which supports a close and committed collaboration across day care centers. Børnehuset Rævehøjen is part of the HLL network (Hjortekær, Lundtofte, Lyngby) which consists of 8 day care centers. The organizational form creates a common direction and rests on knowledge sharing, shared responsibility and collaboration on the development of pedagogical quality.

You will, therefore, as deputy head, enter into a loyal collaboration on shared responsibility tasks with the other deputy heads in the network and help translate shared ambitions into local practice.

About the kindergarten

Our 36 lovely kindergarten children are distributed across 2 age-integrated rooms, where we have a strong collaboration across the rooms. In addition to the rooms, we have an extra group room, so children and adults have the possibility to spread out in several rooms.

We are committed to creating strong child communities and good participation opportunities for all children. Based on the children's perspectives, experiences and needs, we continuously develop our pedagogical practice together.

Professionality, Community and Parent Collaboration

In Rævehøjen you will experience a daily life with a good balance between structure and freedom. Our annual cycle sets the direction for the year’s shared fixed traditions and pedagogical themes, so we always have a clear through-line in the pedagogical work. In our department meetings and staff meetings we regularly take the temperature of the house and adjust goals and activities so that they fit exactly the children group we have right now.

You will feel that we are passionate about what we do – and we do it together. It is very important to us that everyone has ownership of the pedagogical everyday life. That means there is room for crazy ideas, new experiences and all the new knowledge you bring with you. Our location

We live in a wonderful area with green spaces, wild with purpose, public playgrounds and within walking distance to Dyrehaven. We have good transport options, as the light rail and several buses go right to the door. At the same time, we have a large free parking lot.
