Experienced professional for independent management of construction projects

At Brdr. Pedersen AS we seek an experienced colleague who can take responsibility for their projects from planning to delivery. The most important for us is not your title, but that you can create an overview, make decisions and get the finances, schedule, quality and execution to hang together, and that you fit in with our way of working.

We want to do things differently

We are a contracting company with a flat organization, short decision paths and an informal tone. We perform main and total contracts, typically in the range of 10–65 million DKK, and place emphasis on integrity, professionalism and collaboration.

With us you become part of the company and a team where tasks and responsibilities are adapted to the current cases and your competencies. Sometimes you will have overall project management; other times your role will lean more toward daily construction management.

We believe in solving challenges through dialogue. When disagreements arise in a project, we seek clarification and joint solutions with the client, consultants and subcontractors rather than automatically stepping back. It requires both professional depth, commercial understanding and the ability to collaborate.

Your responsibility

You must be able to run your own cases independently and, among other things, have control of:

· Finances, budgets, procurement, change orders and ongoing follow-up

· Planning, schedules, progress and coordination of contracts

· Execution, quality, documentation and delivery

· Dialogue and collaboration with clients, consultants and subcontractors

· Early handling of challenges, risks and project-related disagreements

It’s you we’re looking for

You have solid experience from the contracting industry and are used to taking responsibility for your own construction projects – both practically and financially. You may, for example, have a background as a building constructor, engineer or tradesperson with relevant leadership experience. The specific education and your current job title are less decisive than what you can do and the way you work.

You work in a structured way, communicate clearly and take responsibility without needing to be steered in detail. You also have an eye for the community and are happy to help a colleague when your own schedule allows.

With us we value that tasks and time go hand in hand and therefore work according to the motto 'freedom with responsibility', which means you mostly plan your own working hours within your 37 hours per week.

Where do we work?

Our projects are primarily on Lolland-Falster and Zealand South (Sydsjælland), as a rule not further north than Næstved/Køge. We are based in Nørre Alslev.
