Project Manager for Insurance Services

When water has stood in the living room, or the storm has taken a part of the roof, it is not only the house that needs to be restored. It is also the customer's sense of security. Therefore we are seeking a project manager for insurance service who likes to be the steady point of contact for the customer, the insurer and the team, and who finds it natural to lead with calm, care and an overview.

The good craftsmanship is non-negotiable. The self-evidence applies across tasks, whether it is an insurance claim, a wall to be painted, or a turnkey project.

That has been the case since 2010, when it was just Anders Hartvig and a panel van. Today we are more than 70 colleagues across carpenters, masons, painters, joiners and administration – but we still go to work every day with the same attitude: we do it properly.

What we would most like to be known for is still the same as in 2010: to do a proper and honest piece of work – together. As a project manager for insurance service you will be part of that community. It is you who makes sure the customer feels it when it matters most.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As a project manager for insurance service at Hartvig Gruppen A/S you report to the department head and have responsibility for:

• Your own insurance cases from initial assessment to handover
• Leading your own team of carpenters, masons, painters and apprentices
• Appraisal, documentation and financial management on your cases

And you will work with, among other things

• Inspect and appraise damages and ensure correct documentation in Scalepoint
• Plan the restoration so that dehumidification, trades and materials follow one another
• Be the customer's fixed contact person, so the customer always knows what is happening now, and what happens next
• Collaborate with insurance companies, claims handlers and subcontractors
• Lay out the plan for your team two weeks ahead, so everyone knows where they should be
• Follow your people closely, acknowledge good work and help each individual develop
• Ensure a proper handover and a secure finish for the customer

YOUR PROFILE

We imagine you are someone others like to work with and for. You gain energy from being the person many people turn to during a day, and you enjoy creating calm and forward progress in several cases at once. You have a feel for both the craft and the people. You can speak with an experienced journeyman on equal terms and give an unsure apprentice belief in themselves. You can also put yourself in how it feels to have a damage in one’s own home.

It is an advantage if you

• Are trained as a carpenter or mason, preferably with experience as foreman or project manager
• Have experience from the claims service, e.g., with appraisal, insurance terms and Scalepoint
• Have led tradespeople or want to develop yourself as a leader

You have a driver's license for a regular car (B) and you speak and write Danish. WE OFFER

You will receive a thorough onboarding, where you get to know our cases, systems and partners with an experienced colleague by your side. We invest in you as a leader, so you get tools to motivate, acknowledge and develop your team. This applies whether you have led before or if this is your first leadership role.

You will become part of a project management team of 8 colleagues who share knowledge, brainstorm with each other and step in when a colleague needs it. You get a company car on yellow plates, so you have what you need when you are out on your assignments.

The position is 37 hours per week, and your primary workplace will be at our office in Gentofte.
