About the job

Are you a trained carpenter or bricklayer, and is it often you whom colleagues ask when something needs solving? Is it also you the customer would rather speak with? Then you may be ready for the next step.

At Hartvig Gruppen A/S we are looking for a project manager for insurance service who wants to use their professional skills in a new way: as the leader of their own team and as the one the customer can rely on when an incident has turned everyday life upside down.

ABOUT US

Good craftsmanship is non-negotiable. No matter which of us you meet – on a construction site or on the phone – you will encounter a high professional standard and, most importantly, the same respect for the customer's home and worksite. This principle applies across all tasks, whether it's an insurance claim, a wall that needs painting, or a turnkey project.

That is how it has been since 2010, when it was just Anders Hartvig and a van. Today we are more than 70 colleagues across carpenters, bricklayers, painters, joiners and administration – but we still go to work every day with the same mindset: we do it properly.

What we most want to be known for is still the same as in 2010: to do a proper and honest piece of work – together. As a project manager for insurance service you will become part of the community and have the opportunity to grow as a leader with us behind you.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As the project manager for insurance service at Hartvig Gruppen A/S you report to the department head and are responsible for:

  • Your own insurance cases from the initial inspection to handover
  • Leading your own team of carpenters, bricklayers, painters and apprentices
  • Assessment, documentation and financials on your cases

And you will work on, among other things

  • Inspect damages and plan the restoration together with the customer and the insurance company
  • Set the plan for your team two weeks ahead, so everyone knows where they should be
  • Keep the customer informed so no one is left with questions
  • Acknowledge good work and help each team member develop

YOUR PROFILE

We imagine that you are a trained carpenter or bricklayer, and that you may already have tried your hand at responsibility as foreman or similar. You do not need to have been a leader before. The most important is that you want it and that you have an eye for people: who needs a pat on the back, who needs a challenge, and how the customer feels. Experience with insurance cases and Scalepoint is an advantage, but we can teach you that as well.

You have a standard driving license (B) and speak and write Danish. WE OFFER

You will receive a thorough onboarding where you will get to know our cases, systems and partners with an experienced colleague at your side. We will lay out a plan for your development as a leader, so you gradually gain tools to motivate, acknowledge and develop your team. You will become part of a project manager team of 8 colleagues who are happy to share their experience, and you will receive a company car with yellow plates.

The position is 37 hours per week, and your primary workplace will be at our office in Gentofte.

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE SOMETHING FOR YOU?

So please feel free to send your CV and a short application to Anna Lykkegaard at [email protected] . Instead of a long application, we would like you to answer these three questions:

  • Tell us about a day when many people needed you at once. How did you create an overview, and what did the day give you?
  • Think of a colleague, journeyman or apprentice you have helped to grow. What did you do, and how could you
  • Tell about a time when a customer was upset or frustrated. What did you do to turn the situation around?

A few sentences per question are enough. There are no right answers, we are just curious about you. If you have questions about the position, you are also welcome to write to Anna. We conduct interviews on a rolling basis and look forward to hearing from you.
