Vangskov Biler A/S in Glostrup is looking for an experienced and engaged workshop manager who is passionate about cars, people and a fast-paced everyday life!

Therefore we are not just looking for a workshop manager who can manage the calendar – we are looking for a strong personality who takes ownership, delivers results and wants to make a real difference.

With us you will play a central role in the daily operations of our mechanical workshop, where you will be the link between customers, mechanics, suppliers and management.

Your main tasks

• Class-leading customer service: You love customer contact and are able to build trust through professional, honest and attentive advice. Our customers should experience something extraordinary.
• Planning and coordination: You ensure an efficient work day where mechanics, spare parts and customer appointments fit together – even when the phone rings and the day’s plans change.
• Thoroughness and quality: You are actively involved in the workshop’s daily work and ensure that faults, deficiencies and recommendations are discovered, documented and communicated to the customer.
• Consulting and upselling: You have a natural commercial flair and understand how to translate the mechanics’ observations into relevant and value-adding advice – always with the customer’s needs and integrity at the center.
• Spare parts and suppliers: You are used to navigating between different suppliers such as FTZ, AD Danmark, Au2parts and others, and ensure the right spare parts at the right price and time.
• Optimization and development: You actively contribute to developing workflows, improving efficiency and ensuring high quality and good economics in the workshop.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have solid experience as a workshop manager or service advisor – preferably from a larger independent auto repair shop, where you are used to many different car brands, suppliers and tasks.

You are the type who

• Keeps many balls in the air without losing overview or attention to detail.
• Is structured, proactive and takes responsibility.
• Has a strong technical understanding and preferably a background as a mechanic.
• Is outgoing, positive and really good with people.
• Understands the relationship between quality, customer satisfaction and good workshop economics.
• Can motivate and collaborate with mechanics and apprentices.
• Has experience with digital workshop systems and spare parts ordering.
• Loves development, new ideas and the opportunity to make things even better.
