About the job

The job is 37 hours per week, working hours from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weekend shift every 5 weeks, with commencement on 1 January 2027 or as agreed.

About us

We are a kitchen with a strong sense of community and good collaborative relationships, where we value each other's differences and competencies.

We work with fresh ingredients and have a shared ambition to deliver food of high quality that tastes good and brings joy. Our main task is to ensure daily 24/7 meals for the residents of the house as well as the food for the café guests. We produce both hot-held meals and partially cooled meals for weekends. In addition to the daily production, the house hosts many different events. Here we have the opportunity to unfold our creativity, test new ideas and bring our culinary skills into play.

Senior Center Gulkrog consists of several departments.

We have the Nursing Center with 32 residents. We also have 22 Temporary Places.

Then we have an open Activity House, where even capable citizens from their own homes can come and participate in daily activities or join a group.

In our Assessed Day Center we accept residents from their own homes who cannot manage themselves but need companionship and input in daily life.

We also have a swimming hall, where you can train in a heated swimming pool as well as a training room.

Our café and kitchen provide meals for the whole house and the events held here.

We have a central location in Vejle with the cozy pedestrian street environment in the town center as a neighbor.

Terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and local pay.

The position is 37 hours per week with commencement on 1 January 2027, or after agreement.

Employment is in accordance with the agreement for 70.01 Nurses, nutrition assistants, dental assistants, etc., §§ 4-6. The expected starting salary for full-time, excluding pension, is base salary step (step 1 or 3) based on seniority, in the range DKK 28,181-29,519. The final placement, including collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on education, experience and qualifications as well as the specific offered position.
