Do you want to help create today's highlights for 74 residents through good meals, presence and the aroma of homemade food?

At Care Home Falkenberg we are seeking a Nutrition Assistant for our kitchen, with start no later than January 1, 2027.

For us, meals are much more than food. They are an important part of the community, everyday life and quality of life for the people who live here. Therefore we are looking for a colleague who is passionate about making tasty and nutritious food with respect for residents' wishes and needs.

A central role in the house

You will become part of a kitchen team of three employees who together are responsible for the daily hot meal, open sandwiches and other homemade specialties. We take pride in maintaining our bronze eco-label, and are gradually working towards the silver label.

The kitchen is centrally located at the house's common square, where many of our activities and events take place. This means you will become a visible part of daily life at Falkenberg and have close contact with residents, relatives and colleagues.

We hold fast to the good traditional meals, where potatoes and gravy still have a natural place on the menu. At the same time we value new ideas, creativity and inspiration.

Your tasks

You will, among other things, work with

• Development of meal plans
• Preparation of today's hot dish
• Preparation of open sandwiches
• Baking of bread and cakes
• Preparation of jams, pickled vegetables and other homemade products
• Self-check and quality assurance
• Participation in events and activities in the house

We are looking for someone who

• Is trained as a Nutrition Assistant
• Preferably has experience from similar work, but recent graduates are also welcome to apply
• Can work independently and at the same time thrive in close collaboration with colleagues
• Has an eye for residents' wishes and needs
• Contributes with good humor and a positive approach to everyday life
• Can work 37 hours per week

Care Home Falkenberg is located in Ålsgårde and is home to 74 residents. In addition, we serve daily 23 users of our day center, older residents from outside and staff. We work every day to create a homely environment where good meals play an important role.
