EUX student Social and Health Care Assistant Education in Middelfart Municipality

The education starts with a basic course 2 followed by a main course. It lasts on average 4 years and 6 months. Start date is 27.01.27.

School periods take place at the Social and Health School Fyn in Odense and the training periods in the municipalities’ elderly care, psychiatry and at the hospital/OUH.

Expectations of the applicant

You must be motivated to take a health-related education. We emphasize that you are curious, can reflect on practice, and want to work in an environment where no day is the same. You must be able to approach the tasks with positive energy.

Supervisors who accompany you through all training periods, and mentors who are close to you in daily life.

Admission requirements for the education

The primary school leaving examination or equivalent with a grade of 2.0 in Danish and mathematics.

Criminal record

When employed in Senior and Health - Middelfart Municipality we would like to point out that a public criminal record will be obtained and in some cases also a child records check.

Salary

You will receive apprentice wages during both training and school periods.

The salary amounts to approx. 15,500.00 DKK per month.

If you are 25 years or older and have a minimum of one year of relevant vocational experience (care of adults) within the last 4 years, you have the possibility to receive adult apprentice wages. This amounts to approx. 24,500.00 DKK per month.

The working hours are 37 hours per week.
