Experienced client advisor for ambitious construction projects in Ringsted Municipality

Will you lead some of Ringsted Municipality's most prominent construction projects in the coming years?

Ringsted Municipality has adopted an ambitious infrastructure program with investments in, among other things, new housing options, sports facilities, and school buildings. We are therefore seeking an experienced client advisor/project manager who can drive complex construction projects from idea to handover and create results through strong project management, sound financial control, and good dialogue with users, advisers, and politicians.

You will have overall client responsibility for larger construction projects with construction budgets of up to DKK 130 million and will be the principal project manager throughout the process from needs clarification and political decisions to design, execution, and handover.

In the Road and Property Center, we are about 100 employees distributed across four departments. You will become part of a department with diverse competencies. The Building and Construction Department consists of 18 employees distributed in two teams. One is Team Building and the other Team Construction, which work with, among other things; mobility, traffic safety, road and path construction, land development, and public transport.

You will be part of the Building team in Building and Construction, where we work with development, new construction, and renovation of the municipality's properties. The team consists of dedicated colleagues with different professional backgrounds, and you will have a strong influence on both the projects and the continued development of our professional environment.

Building and Construction is supported by staff, which includes, among others, a procurement lawyer, a communications project manager, and financial staff. Building and Construction has a department head, and each team, Building and Construction, has its own team coordinator.

Your primary tasks will be

• Client and project management of larger construction projects.

• Have solid experience with project and client management of complex construction projects.
• Have in-depth knowledge of construction processes, contract relations and the AB system.
• Thrive in the role of a link between users, advisers, contractors, and decision-makers.
• Can translate complex issues into clear decision bases.
• Have experience from public client organizations, advisory or contracting industries.
• Are trained as an engineer, architect, or building constructor.
• Work in a structured manner and naturally take responsibility for progress and results.
