Experienced consultant for competence development in the municipal health and elderly care sector

Then you may be the colleague we are looking for in our Department of Health and Life Science at Copenhagen College of Professional Higher Education (KP).

The municipal health and eldercare sector is undergoing change. Not least as a result of the Health Reform and the Elder Care Reform. In the Department of Health and Life Science we work closely with municipalities to translate these changes into new competences, learning pathways and practice-oriented solutions that make a difference for citizens, employees and managers.

Right now we especially see demand for competence development and consultancy services in relation to the implementation of the elder care reform, interdisciplinary collaboration and clinical leadership. Therefore we are seeking a colleague who can strengthen our efforts targeted at the municipal health and eldercare sector and establish new collaborations.

About the job

As a consultant you will be part of the department's organization Municipal Health and Elderly Care. You will work closely with municipal executives, managers, project managers and staff, as well as colleagues across KP to develop and implement competence-development programs. You will have a varied everyday life, switching between strategic tasks and concrete practice-oriented tasks with customers and course participants. You will also play a central role in the dialogue with the municipalities, where you contribute to identifying new needs for competence development and education.

Your main tasks will be

• Act as project manager on client projects and ensure progress, finances and quality
• Engage in networks and relationships with a view to securing new assignments and developing the area
• Prepare proposals, contracts and collaboration agreements in dialogue with customers and partners
• Develop the range of courses, academic and diploma programs aimed at the municipal health and eldercare sector, including specialist training in citizen-centered nursing
• Facilitate competence-development programs and consultancy efforts within holistic care, implementation of the elder reform and health reform for leaders and employees in the municipal health and eldercare sector
• Contribute to the visibility of KP's offerings through marketing and communication

About you

You have solid knowledge and practical experience from the municipal health and eldercare sector, preferably as a consultant, manager or project manager. You have a relevant academic degree, preferably supplemented with skills in facilitation, project management or process management.

Furthermore, we envision

• You have in-depth knowledge of the elder and health reform as well as professional initiatives, organization and leadership in municipalities
• You are analytical and good at communicating verbally and in writing
• You have experience in driving projects, implementation and change processes
• You are good at building relationships and thrive in dialogue with customers and partners
• You work in a structured, independent manner and actively contribute to shared task solving and knowledge sharing
• You are motivated by translating knowledge into development, learning and concrete results in practice

It is an advantage if you have experience with competence development or adult learning and already have a strong network in the municipal health and eldercare sector.

Your workplace

Copenhagen College of Professional Higher Education is one of Denmark's largest higher education institutions and offers a wide range of programs and continuing education. We are known for our strong professional environment, where theory and practice go hand in hand.

The position is anchored in the Institute for Lifelong Learning in the Department of Health and Life Science, where we are 20 teachers and consultants who develop and implement targeted competence-development as well as continuing and further education programs for the health sector and life science sector.

Salary and terms of employment

Employment starts February 1, 2027. The working week is 37 hours.

You will be employed as a consultant or senior consultant depending on your experience and qualifications under the state academics collective agreement . There will be opportunities to negotiate supplements based on qualifications.

The workplace is located at Tagensvej 18, 2200 Copenhagen N. Some of the tasks will be carried out in collaboration with municipalities in the region, and therefore some travel and meeting activity should be expected.
