About the job

Would you like to help develop new visitations guidelines for the health care system and at the same time drive and coordinate processes that support quality in assessment and treatment as well as appropriate use of health care system resources?

The Health Care Quality Institute (SundK) is seeking two experienced consultants with strong competencies in process management, project work and change processes who will help drive the development of visitations guidelines in a newly established team.

The Visitations Guidelines Team at SundK is responsible for developing and maintaining nationwide, health-science visitations guidelines. The team was established in 2026 and currently consists of three consultants and a team coordinator.

You will play a central role in planning, coordinating and driving the work with visitations guidelines. You will work in close collaboration with various actors in the health care sector, including health professionals, representatives from patient organizations, administration and management as well as other organizations and authorities.

Your everyday work will include a variety of tasks that may change from assignment to assignment. Your overarching responsibility in task execution will be to ensure collaboration and progress in the development of concrete visitations guidelines.

You will work at the intersection of method and practice. This includes, among other things, that you must explore and understand the stakeholder landscape, establish representative working groups and acquaint yourself with scientific literature and data. An important part of the work with visitations guidelines is to find the right balance between quality in assessment and treatment of a given disease and the organizational and economic frameworks.

You will thus play a central role in translating complex interdisciplinary knowledge into solutions that function in practice and create value for both the individual patient and the entire health care system.

You will work across disease areas in close collaboration with the team coordinator and colleagues in both the team and the rest of SundK.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • Drive and support the development of concrete visitations guidelines, including planning, coordinating and following up
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of SundK’s generic visitations guidelines model and optimization of the associated workflows
  • Engage in dialogue with external actors in the health sector
  • Understand and familiarize yourself with knowledge within specific disease areas, including scientific literature, activity data as well as economic and organizational frameworks
  • Facilitate working group meetings and support the working group in the development of visitations guidelines
  • Draft texts and thus contribute to the development of decision briefs, status notes, the visitations guidelines themselves, presentations etc.
  • Participate in cross-cutting tasks in SundK where visitations guidelines intersect with other tasks
  • Contribute to further developing the relatively newly established visitations guidelines team

We envision that you

  • Have a relevant health or social sciences education (e.g., cand.scient.san.publ., cand.scient.pol., cand.scient.san., cand.scient., cand.scient.med., cand.oecon. or equivalent)
  • Have solid experience with project management and coordination – preferably from change processes in the health care system
  • Have experience in understanding and translating scientific literature, activity data, financial data etc. into decision-making processes
  • Have experience from the health care system and thus good knowledge of and understanding for the actors, organization, governance and decision-making processes
  • Have capacity and resource understanding and can translate this into assessing the consequences of visitations guidelines for the health care system
  • Thrive in a role where you create overview and momentum in complex tasks with many stakeholders
  • Thrive in development work, which may sometimes change direction
  • Thrive in collaborating with many people across tasks and disciplines – both internally in our matrix organization and externally
  • Communicate clearly and precisely – both in writing and orally

We offer

  • A meaningful position in a newer and strategically important SundK team
  • A varied workday with both operational and development tasks
  • A professionally strong and cross-disciplinary working environment with good opportunities for sparring
  • Flexible working conditions and good opportunities for professional development
  • A dynamic organization in development, where we as SundK help set a significant agenda for quality and prioritization in health care

Salary and terms of employment

We are looking for two new colleagues: one for a permanent position and one for a maternity leave cover in the period January 1 to December 31, 2027.

Both positions are 37 hours per week and employed in the Central Denmark Region. You may be based at our offices in Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus or Aalborg, where you will become part of a strong professional community with colleagues across the country and therefore should expect some travel. Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement. Depending on your competences, experience, educational background and the content of the position there may be opportunities for appointment as senior or chief consultant.

From January 1, 2027, SundK will implement a conflict of interest policy to support openness, transparency and trust in SundK’s work with quality development and patient safety in the Danish health care system.

As an employee of SundK you will be covered by the conflict of interest policy. Read more here: https://www.sundk.dk/nyheder/sundk-vedtager-habilitetspolitik/
