The Department for Autism and Developmental Disabilities is for citizens who have challenges as a result of developmental disabilities and a diagnosis within the autism spectrum, and who may have challenges with outwardly directed behavior. They are in the age group 12–50 years.

The department consists of several premises and houses, where each citizen lives alone in a shielded environment. Around each citizen is attached a fixed group of pedagogical and health care staff with a staffing ratio of either 1:1 or 2:1, depending on the citizen's needs.

You will have the daily personnel responsibility for 20-25 skilled and dedicated employees with high professional knowledge and expertise in the field.

  • Responsibility for daily operations and quality in the department.
  • Close collaboration with municipal authorities, placing municipalities, the Social Supervisory Authority and other relevant partners.
  • Ability to create coherence between daily practice, professional quality and written documentation. At the same time, you must ensure constructive collaboration with both staff, municipalities, relatives and other actors around the individual citizen.

A driving license and own car are a prerequisite for performing the position.

  • Understand the importance of good cooperation with the citizens' relatives.
  • Are a clear and approachable leader who can create an overview in a complex daily life and at the same time maintain focus on both staff well-being and citizens' individual needs.
