Skovgade Nursing Home upscales nursing competencies, so if you are a nurse with a passion for holistic care, complex issues and interdisciplinary collaboration?

Then you might be the one we are looking for for a permanent position of at least 20 hours per week. The working hours are daytime on weekdays with start on 01.01.2027, but we are also happy to wait for the right colleague.

About Skovgade Nursing Home

Here live 52 very different people spread across four houses, all needing your individual nursing care and attention. We want to create home and well-being based on person-centered care. Your future colleagues are a lovely mix of SSH and SSA graduates, a nursing home nurse, unskilled substitutes, cleaning and nutrition assistants and many curious students within the SoSu area. We also have an activities coordinator employed for about 20 hours per week, who together with many wonderful volunteers ensures that everyday life does not become boring.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a skilled and experienced nurse who thrives with complex nursing tasks and can navigate a broad interdisciplinary collaboration. As our new nursing home nurse, you will be, together with your nursing home nurse colleague, the driving force in nursing work at Skovgade Nursing Home.

Even if you are not part of the fixed daily staffing, we expect you to assist with daily tasks when needed. It is therefore important that you prioritize and take pride in participating in the care tasks.

At the same time you will work closely with the group of other nursing home nurses from the other 6 nursing homes in the municipality. We cover for each other in case of illness and vacation. It is therefore a requirement that you have a driving license, and we would like you to be able to make a car available if there is a need for coverage at the other nursing homes.

Your tasks

• Planning and coordinating nursing tasks and holistic care with a focus on residents’ well-being.
• Consultation with colleagues both at Skovgade Nursing Home and the other nursing homes in the municipality.
• Coordinator for complex pathways including documentation and collaboration with colleagues and the nursing home doctor.
• Ensuring quality work – and you will be a key person for quality with responsibility for patient safety and competence development.
• Learning and educational activities – support trainees and students in their education journey

We expect from you

• You have experience with elder care, preferably within dementia, palliative care and/or psychiatry.
• You have a positive and curious approach to life and can maintain calm in busy situations
• You take pride in solving tasks within citizen-centered nursing and are curious about working from person-centered care.
• You are strong in creating good relationships with residents, colleagues and partners.
• You are a skilled communicator and sparring partner for colleagues with different levels of experience and education
• You contribute with supervision and general competence development of colleagues, so we can collectively deliver both high professional quality and dignity as well as security for the resident.
• You are proactive in quality work and strong in documentation, preferably with experience in KMD Nexus.
