Experienced occupational safety coordinator (AMK-B) sought for a large construction project in Ølgod

Samson Gruppen is seeking an experienced and proactive Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator (AMK-B) for an exciting and larger construction project in Ølgod.

We are looking for a person who knows the day-to-day life on a construction site, can collaborate with both tradespeople, contractors and construction management, and who can translate rules and safety procedures into practical solutions.

Experience from larger technical builds, particularly data centers, will be a clear advantage.

Your tasks

You will play a central role in ensuring a safe and well-functioning occupational safety environment during the execution phase of the construction. Your tasks will include:

• Coordination of the occupational safety and health efforts on the construction site.
• Carrying out safety rounds and following up on observations.
• Holding and coordinating safety and occupational safety meetings.
• Preparation, updating and follow-up of the Plan for Safety and Health (PSS).
• Risk assessment and prevention of workplace accidents.
• Coordination between contractors and different trades.
• Documentation and reporting of occupational safety and health conditions.
• Ensuring that legislation, procedures and safety requirements are followed.

We are looking for someone who

• Has completed the legally required occupational safety coordinator training.
• Has solid practical experience as AMK-B in the construction industry.
• Has in-depth knowledge of safety and occupational safety on larger construction sites.
• Is autonomous, structured and solution-oriented.
• Has assertiveness and is willing to take responsibility when safety requires it.
• Can communicate in both Danish and English.
• Thrives in a dynamic environment with many different trades and contractors.

It is advantageous if you have experience with data center construction, larger industrial projects or other complex technical builds.
