Work Environment Consultant for HR, South Jutland Hospital

Then you may be our new occupational health and safety consultant in HR.

About the position

The position is newly established and anchored in HR at Sygehus Sønderjylland. You will have your primary role in the Work Environment team but also participate in a collaboration on tasks in the Leadership and Organization team.

In the role as occupational health and safety consultant you will play a central role together with the team to support the hospital in raising the bar for local work environment efforts, and ensuring support for the hospital's work environment certification.

Your primary tasks will include

• Development and support of the psychosocial work environment both organizationally and locally – including
• Sekretariat support to committees, steering and working groups
• Process facilitation and organizational development tasks in collaboration with Leadership and Organization, e.g., upcoming value process at the hospital
• Work with the employee satisfaction survey (MTU), and the subsequent follow-up

About you

We emphasize that in the role as consultant you build trustful relationships with both managers and health and safety representatives, and see collaboration as a prerequisite for good solutions. You have a clear organizational and development-oriented approach to the tasks and are motivated by translating the hospital's strategy and regional efforts into concrete, value-creating initiatives for the hospital and its departments.

Your educational background is not decisive – but you may have an academic degree in organization and management, a health care profile.

• Communicate clearly and precisely – both in writing and orally
• Have a strong professional ballast within occupational health and safety, preferably from a public context.
• Have experience with guidance and advice on topics within psychosocial work environment and well-being.
• Have knowledge and preferably experience in project management, process facilitation, teaching
• Can translate organizational and local needs into concrete, value-creating development programs at both strategic and operational levels.
• Have organizational understanding and have an interest in leadership development, sparring with leaders and organizational development

About HR, Team Work Environment and Team Leadership and Organization

In HR we are a total of 27 employees distributed across five teams. HR strengthens retention and recruitment by collaborating with, supporting and advising managers and employees at Sygehus Sønderjylland. The tasks in HR include among other things recruitment of managers, payroll administration, work environment, education, personnel law and negotiations as well as strategy and development tasks. In sum, we contribute to improvements and strategic development of the hospital's HR-related focus areas.

In HR we are focused on having a good time while doing good, we are decent, proactive and curious – both in our collaboration and in solving our tasks.

You will become part of Team Work Environment, which besides you consists of two work environment consultants and a project-based development consultant. In addition you will have shared responsibility creation with other teams especially Team Leadership and Organization.

Salary and employment terms

• The position is 37 hours per week.
• Commencement January 1, 2026 or after further agreement.
• The region is obliged to inform you of the starting salary for the position. This will be done in connection with invitation to interview.

Workplace

The position is anchored in HR, Sygehus Sønderjylland, Kresten Phillipsens Vej 15, 6200 Aabenraa. There may be meetings and activities at the hospital's other campuses and at other units in the Region of Southern Denmark.
