Experienced tailor wanted for our sewing room in Østerbro

For our sewing workshop in Østerbro, we are looking for an experienced and skilled tailor for a full-time position.

The tasks are very versatile and include, among other things, repairs, alterations and new fittings of both men's and women's clothing, as well as work with leather and fur.

The work consists of, among other things

• Hemming and letting down of trousers
• Replacement of zippers
• Alterations of jackets, trousers, dresses, etc.
• Repair of clothing
• Taking in and letting out clothing
• Other common tailoring tasks

The tasks vary widely – from sewing on a button or hemming a pair of trousers to larger alterations, repairs and sewing new clothing.

We place great emphasis on you having the necessary experience and professional competence to independently assess and carry out the tasks our customers bring.

You must be meticulous, quality-conscious and have a good eye for detail. It is important that you are self-critical about the work you deliver, and take pride in delivering a neat and correct result.

As reception and advising customers in the shop are also part of the job, we expect you to have a positive attitude, be outgoing and customer-minded.

You must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. On a daily basis you will join a team with our other employees.

The working hours fall within our opening hours

Monday-Friday 9.00-17.30 and every second Saturday 10.00-13.00.

The position is full-time.

It is a requirement that you can speak, read and understand Danish , as all tasks are written down and you must be able to read and execute customers' orders independently.
