Experienced urban planner sought for a strong planning team

More exciting tasks are coming in through the door, and therefore we are looking for one more skilled urban planner for our PLAN department. At LIFA we experience growing demand for planning tasks, and we are therefore looking for one more experienced urban planner who wants to become part of a professionally strong team where collaboration, helpfulness and camaraderie are as important as professionalism.

The department also supports LIFA's other areas of expertise with planning-related clarifications, internal advice and sparring.

About the position We are seeking an experienced urban planner who can drive planning processes from A to Z and navigate safely between the many stakeholders involved in development projects.

You may have experience from both the public and private sector and are therefore accustomed to collaborating with municipal administrations, external subject-matter experts, developers, landowners and citizens.

With us you will have responsibility for your own projects and the opportunity to influence both tasks, client relations and your own professional development.

Your tasks may include

• Preparation of local plans, municipal plan amendments, master plans, zoning plans and other planning products
• Advising private developers, municipalities and organizations
• Process management and coordination of planning projects
• Dialogue with authorities, citizens and other stakeholders
• Environmental assessments and planning-related analyses
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with LIFA's other disciplines

We think you should

• Have at least 3-4 years of experience in urban planning
• Have worked with the entire planning process from idea to adopted plan
• Be professionally strong and able to work independently
• Thrive with customer contact and relationships
• Have an eye for both quality, progression and economy
• Be a team player who contributes positively to the community
• Have a relevant education such as architect, surveyor, landscape architect, engineer, geographer or similar

Your daily base will be at our office in Aarhus with the option to work at our office in Vejle if that suits your residence better.
