About the job

Would you like to help develop and qualify the central work-time planning in the Social Area of Randers Municipality?

Team Optima is actively taking on an important shared task in the Social Area. We are seeking an experienced and structured work-time planner who will help further develop our central planning function and ensure good, coherent solutions for citizens, employees and managers.

The team has been in operation for three months, and we are well underway with developing our joint workflows, collaboration interfaces and professional foundation. Now we want to strengthen the team further with a colleague who wants to contribute to the continued development.

About the job

As a work-time planner, you will be an important part of Team Optima, which handles central work-time planning across the round-the-clock offerings of the Social Area.

The purpose of the central planning function is to gather and professionalize a complex planning task, so it is lifted with a holistic view on resources, economy, employee well-being and professional quality. At the same time, it should free up time and leadership capacity for the individual department heads so they can focus on the core task and close personnel leadership.

You will be part of a team where we work closely together, share knowledge and focus on creating solutions that work in practice.

Your main tasks

  • Sustainable use of resources: Preparation and maintenance of wish plans as well as vacation and holiday plans that ensure appropriate staffing.
  • Safe operation: Handling substitutes and temporary staff in case of illness and other absence, so that operations can be maintained.
  • Collaboration with management: Close dialogue with department heads about staffing, resource management and planning solutions.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the work-time plans meet applicable laws, rest period provisions and relevant collective agreements, including FOA and SL.
  • Development of common practice: Contribute to developing and qualifying Team Optima’s workflows, collaboration and common professional foundation.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience with complex work-time planning and thrive at the intersection where many interests, needs and considerations must come together in a higher unity.

  • You know the rules: You preferably have in-depth knowledge of 24-hour work rules, work-time agreements and collective agreements.
  • You are system-strong: You have administrative flair and preferably experience with SD Optima.
  • You are a clear communicator: You can communicate clearly and constructively with both managers and employees, even when wishes and possibilities do not always align.
  • You have a holistic view: You can translate planning considerations into solutions that support both employee well-being, economy and safe operation.
  • You are a team player: You actively contribute to the community, share your knowledge and thrive on developing solutions together with others.

We offer

You will become part of a team that is already engaged in an exciting task, and where there is still the opportunity to shape both collaboration and development. We offer;

  • A central and meaningful function in the Social Area.
  • An engaged team with diverse experiences and competencies.
  • A workplace with focus on collaboration, trust, respect and mutual helpfulness.
  • Opportunity to influence and further develop an important shared function.
  • Thorough introduction and onboarding as well as ongoing competence development.

Working hours: The position is full-time with on-site presence within the hours of 06:00-16:00 in a fixed rotation.
