Family counsellor sought for maternity leave cover in the Reception in Hvidovre Municipality's family counselling

Would you like to make a difference for children and families – right from the first contact? Are you a trained social worker or social facilitator with a passion for the good social work craft? Do you want to work with early intervention, involvement and dialogue-based solutions? Then it might be you we are looking for for a maternity leave replacement position in the Reception in Hvidovre Municipality.

You will work with children aged 0–18 years and their families – and help ensure that we act quickly and with qualification when concerns arise.

About the Reception The Reception consists of 6 advisors and is part of the Family Counseling, which totals 55 advisors. We handle all referrals, make 24-hour assessments, screen cases and carry out assessments in accordance with the Child Act. We cooperate closely with schools, police, health services and day-care institutions – and focus on creating holistic and preventive solutions.

We have a good familiarity with each other, both professionally and personally, where we value professional and personal differences. We place great value on a humorous approach to our work life and tasks.

Your tasks will include

• Advice and guidance to families
• Handling of referrals and 24-hour assessments
• Interim network meetings
• Child interviews and party hearings
• Screening and assessment in accordance with the Child Act
• Decisions on child welfare investigations
• Handling of acute cases

Salary and conditions of employment The position is 37 hours and paid according to the applicable collective agreement with starting point in Ny Løn, in relation to qualifications and functions.
