Do you want to make a difference for children, young people and foster families?

In Norddjurs Municipality's Children and Family Advisory Service, we are seeking a Network and Foster Care Consultant who is passionate about relationships, professional development and collaboration. A colleague who sees opportunities, thrives with a high degree of independence and at the same time values the sense of community in a strong team and across the department.

With us you will have a central role in the work of identifying, assessing and involving networks around the child. An important part of the task is to strengthen the child’s network as part of a preventive effort. When an placement becomes necessary, you also have a central function in identifying and matching the child with the right network or the right foster family.

You will have responsibility for supporting good and stable placement processes and act as a sparring partner for networks and foster families throughout the process. Your contribution helps ensure that children and young people receive the support, relationships and continuity that give them the best development opportunities.

Who are we?

The Children and Family Advisory Service consists of about 50 staff organized into a reception, a children’s team, a youth team, a special team and a Network and Foster Care Consultant team. We work closely with the children’s and youth advisers regarding children and young people, where the network can be part of a preventive effort to strengthen the child’s own resources and relationships, as well as around children and young people where an placement is necessary, and where the right network or foster family solution must be found.

We believe that good results are created through high professional standards, strong relationships and close collaboration. We use both DUBU and SOFUS as administrative tools for network and foster family tasks.

  • Preparation of network investigations and private care permits.
