We are looking for a Child and Family Counselor for daycare

About the position

As a Child and Family Advisor you will be a central part of our preventive effort in Kerteminde Municipality's Children and Family Department. You will have a daily presence close to children, parents and professionals – with physical presence in day care settings.

Your work focuses on early detection, advisory support and interdisciplinary collaboration , so that children receive the necessary support before small problems grow into large ones.

Your main tasks

• Advise and guide professionals, parents and children in accordance with the Dagtilbudsloven and Barnets Lov
• Support well-being and belonging in groups and in day care
• Engage in close collaboration with day care services and the Reception in Børn og Familie
• Contribute to the quality of concerns and notifications
• Coordinate and activate relevant efforts in collaboration with professionals and civil society
• Build bridges between families and local community resources and networks

About you

We envision that you have a relevant professional background such as pedagogue, teacher, social worker or similar – and experience with advisory work, interdisciplinary collaboration and preventive work with children and families.

Salary and employment terms

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is classified as a full-time position at 37 hours.

Expected salary range: 35,000-42,000 per month exclusive of employer-paid pension, flex benefits and holiday allowance. In addition, there may be locally agreed allowances, qualification-, function- and senior allowances.

The final salary setting will be based on your qualifications and previous work experience following concrete negotiation with the relevant trade union.
