In Frederikssund Municipality we are looking for a finance consultant who wants to help ensure an overview of the economy in the specialized adult area – i.e. adults in housing and a number of other supported services.

You will play an important role in an area with great national attention, where it is essential to keep track of the finances. Work that must be carried out in close cooperation with skilled colleagues in both Budget and Procurement and in relevant professional areas.

Experience with the area would be an advantage, but not a requirement.

About the position

As a finance consultant in the specialized adult area, your primary task will be to prepare monthly forecasts in the calibra system.

Forecasts that must be communicated monthly to the administrative management and quarterly (budget follow-ups) to the political level to ensure an overview of the finances.

The work requires a good overview of the number of approved services, expected upcoming services and average prices. An overview that is ensured in close collaboration with professionals in the specialized adult area and the specialized pediatric area, from which many new cases come.

In addition to working with the monthly forecasts, the position includes tasks related to

• Disbursements of payments and collection of co-payments in the pecunia system
• General sparring with the professional area regarding finances
• Especially expensive individual cases in the specialized adult area

The position can also be expanded with more concrete tasks depending on the level of experience. In any case, you will meet good colleagues who will brainstorm with you on the tasks.

About us

The position is located in the municipality's budget department, which is part of Budget and Procurement with a total of 13 employees and a manager. We have a strong professional and collegial community where we help each other, share knowledge and like to think outside the box. With us you get a lot of freedom to plan your work, while there is help available from both colleagues and the manager.

This includes prognosis work in calibra, management of the municipality's own tariff-funded institutions, analyses and ad hoc tasks in other respects. It will be me who helps you get started with the work – as needed – and hands over the area to you.”

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week with earliest possible start.

Salary and employment are according to the collective agreement with the possibility of negotiating any supplements that reflect your qualifications.

In Frederikssund Municipality we offer flexible working hours – including the possibility of home office.

Workplace is Torvet 2, 3600 Frederikssund, only a 10-minute walk from the S-train station. There is a canteen scheme.
