Financial Controller for Accounting

Group Finance - Accounting is seeking a Financial Controller for the Cross-Functional Team, which consists of competent and adaptable accounting staff and controllers working across Accounting.

As a controller in our cross-functional team, you will work with all types of accounting tasks across the sections, including internal controls and handling a number of fixed tasks in e.g. the master data section.

You will solve tasks as needs arise. This can be in connection with a parental leave replacement, holidays, illness or peak periods, e.g. month-end closing. The period of task execution can be short or long, which is why it is a condition that you thrive on change and are not afraid to dive into new areas with short notice. As of January 1, 2027, Accounting offices will be in both Glostrup and Sorø.

It is important that you have an analytical and structured approach to work. In addition, it is expected that you possess a high level of professional competence, a holistic view, good communication skills, and are not afraid to tackle both reporting tasks, reconciliations, and ad hoc tasks.

In addition to daily operations, we are facing the large and exciting merger of the Capital Region of Denmark and Region Zealand, and we need more hands.

We imagine that you have a relevant accounting and theoretical background as a financial controller or HD(R).

You are able to plan and prioritize your tasks in a busy workday. You must be able to function as a strong professional sparring partner for colleagues in Group Accounting, and therefore it is important that you have good collaboration skills.

Who are we

Group Finance – Accounting in Region East Denmark will from January 1 be responsible for accounting and bookkeeping tasks for the entire Region East Denmark. Accounting consists of seven sections that together solve tasks within accounting and bookkeeping for all region hospitals, companies and staff. Accounting will employ about 125 employees from January 1, 2027 and has offices in Glostrup and Sorø.

You will become part of a highly engaged, proactive and professionally strong unit in a highly specialized organization, where there is an opportunity to influence the job and daily life.

Salary and employment terms.

Your primary workplace will be Rigshospitalet Glostrup, Valdemar Hansens Vej 2, building 8, 2600 Glostrup.

Expected commencement January 1, 2027 or by agreement.

Employment is primarily in accordance with the agreement below. The starting salary may vary depending on your seniority, experience, education, and the geographical location of the workplace.
