Do you want to help create transparency, governance and real business value in TV 2’s use of AI?

We are seeking an experienced specialist who can establish and drive our AI FinOps capability and connect technology, finance and business.

The team

You will become part of the Tech Enabling domain in TV 2 Technology, based in Odense. Here you will have a cross-cutting role, working closely with technology and domain leadership, Technology Finance Business Partner, AI CoE, Enterprise Architecture, Vendor Management Specialists, Security as well as Contract Management and Procurement.

You will be part of an environment where we work across disciplines and organizational boundaries. The role is positioned as a cross-domain role in Tech Enabling and reports to the domain lead. You will have a clear mandate as a specialist, but create results through close collaboration with teams and leaders across TV 2.

The role

As a FinOps specialist with a focus on AI, you will be responsible for establishing and further developing TV 2’s overall approach to AI consumption. You translate technical choices into financial implications, governance models and management insight. The role is both tactical and operational, and you are expected to work in teams across eight domains.

You will have the mandate to define standards and governance principles, recommend investments and optimization initiatives, establish KPI’s and reporting requirements, and escalate inappropriate consumption or lack of compliance. The role does not have responsibility to allocate the budget for the business areas’ AI consumption, but acts as a guiding and advising specialist function.

Your primary responsibilities will be to

• establish and maintain an overview of AI consumption, costs and value creation across models, platforms, agents and suppliers.
• develop cost allocation models, KPI’s, budgets, forecasts and management reporting, and contribute to an AI FinOps dashboard.
• define and implement governance, approval processes, guidelines, consumption caps and governance mechanisms for AI investments.
• analyze consumption patterns and cost drivers, identify optimization opportunities and prepare business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
• build AI cost awareness through advisory, workshops, training, best-practice guides and tools for management dialogue.

Your profile

We envision you as an experienced professional with technical insight and solid business understanding. You can create structure in a developing area, translate complex problems into clear decision foundations and build relationships across disciplines. It is important that you can both set direction and work closely with teams to make governance practical in practice.

We emphasize that you

• have experience with FinOps, cloud cost management, technology economics or equivalent, as well as budgeting, forecasting and financial follow-up.
• have an understanding of generative AI, LLMs, agent technologies and AI architecture, and preferably experience with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, GitHub Copilot, Bedrock or Foundry.
• have experience with data analysis, KPI development, reporting and building data-driven decision bases.
• understand governance, compliance, GDPR and information security and have experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• communicate clearly at both management and specialist levels, work collaboratively and can enable change in an organization in development.
