About the job

Do you want to help negotiate salaries, advise hospital leaders and develop smarter workflows? At HR at Aarhus University Hospital, you will become part of a professionally strong team of six consultants. We help the hospital’s leadership find good solutions and place emphasis on constructive dialogue and good collaboration in an organization with around 13,000 employees.

Your tasks

Salary negotiations and advisory are at the core of the job. You will have independent responsibility for selected collective agreement groups and conduct salary negotiations for new hires and in the annual salary negotiation round. An important part of the work is also to provide the hospital’s leadership with professional and trust-building sparring. We emphasize constructive negotiations and respectful relationships with the trade unions.

At the same time, you will have the opportunity to shape how we work. Together with colleagues you will help simplify workflows, create more cohesive processes and use digital tools where they add value in everyday life.

We also work proactively with the other staff units to create closer coherence across the hospital. Here your ideas and experience will be important in the development of our advisory services and collaboration with the management.

Your professional profile

We envision that you have experience with wage negotiations and interpretation of collective agreements in the public sector. You thrive in representing the management and can combine professional assertiveness with integrity, attentiveness and a dialog-oriented approach.

It comes naturally to you to see connections in a complex organization and to find opportunities to simplify workflows. An interest in digital tools, data and practical use of new technology and AI is also an advantage. You do not need to have all the solutions in advance – the most important is the willingness to learn and develop the tasks together with us.

Your educational background can be a relevant academic degree, an administration Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications. Solid practical experience with negotiation can also be your route into the position.

What you can look forward to

  • A meaningful job with independence and the opportunity to influence how tasks are solved
  • A thorough introduction to the tasks and the hospital’s organization
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of working from home
  • Helpful colleagues who prioritise sparring, collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Opportunity for professional and personal development

We place great emphasis on collaboration and knowledge sharing. Briefly describe in your application how you collaborate with colleagues and what you can contribute in terms of negotiation, process improvement and digitalization. Concrete examples are welcome.
