Freight Forwarder - Keep track of transport from A to B, sought

As a Freight Forwarder you have a central role in daily transport planning, where you coordinate shipments and ensure that customers' goods are delivered safely and on time. You will maintain ongoing contact with customers, carriers and other partners.

The everyday includes both planned tasks and situations that require quick action. You work with booking, documentation, pricing and follow-up, and you find alternative solutions when the transport does not go entirely as planned.

Tasks

• Planning and coordination of transports.
• Booking of transport and shipments.
• Contact with customers, carriers and partners.
• Preparation and handling of transport documentation.
• Collection and calculation of freight prices.
• Follow-up on ongoing transports.
• Handling delays and changes.
• Order processing and registration.
• Ensuring agreed delivery times.

Professional qualifications

• Educated freight forwarder or experience in a similar position.
• Good understanding of transport and logistics.
• Experience with booking and transport planning.
• Good IT skills.
• Experience with transport or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in Danish and English.
• German or other languages are an advantage.
