About the position

Sport and Folk Education in the Municipality of Herlev seeks a general worker for the green area, responsible for the daily care of the municipality's green sports facilities.

We work purposefully to ensure that our facilities and grass pitches are well-maintained, clean, and inviting. You will be an important part of the effort to ensure that our many guests and users have a good experience every time they visit us.

You must have a driver’s license, as there will be a lot of driving with a tractor.

You will become part of a team with good camaraderie, and helpfulness is at the forefront. Here there is room to breathe and good spirits – even when we are busy.

Your workday

The workday starts at 7:00 at Tvedvangen by Herlev Hallerne, where the team plans, and then carries out the day’s tasks at the municipality’s sports facilities. You work most of the day independently, but also participate in teamwork with your colleagues.

There may be tasks at other sports facilities or halls in the municipality, if needed.

Salary and terms of employment

• The position is full-time with a weekly working time of 37 hours.
• The position will commence on January 1, 2027.
• Salary and terms of employment are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between 3F and KL and agreed upon according to the principles of the new pay scale.
• A background check and a criminal record certificate will be obtained.
• Herlev Municipality has a smoke-free workplace.
