Re-advertisement - SyBA seeks an educator for Skovparken in Ryomgård

There is now a rare opportunity for a position in Denmark's perhaps most cozy residential community.

Skovparken is part of Syddjurs Housing and Activity Offer (SyBA), which is a unified unit in Syddjurs Municipality with housing and activity services spread across the municipality. We provide residential services to adults with significant and lasting disabilities/developmental disabilities.

Skovparken is a residential facility for 16 adults with permanently reduced functioning, all living in apartments with their own entrance. These are arranged around a pleasant courtyard and lead out to a lovely green area.

We have two large common houses, which are used for dining, socializing, creative crafts, games, gaming, parties and whatever the residents feel like. The residents are currently between 21 and 80 years old with an even split between men and women.

The staff offer help with understanding finances, accompaniment to the doctor, medication management, handling mail, shopping and other daily living activities as well as support to structure and oversee everyday life, so that the citizens can have the opportunity to take as much responsibility for their own lives as possible.

• You are educated with relevant pedagogical knowledge and experience
• You are passionate about making a difference and creating a good everyday life for the residents at Skovparken
• You contribute with care, presence and professionalism in your work
• You are open to reflection regarding your practice
• You can contribute to a working community that creates value for the residents
• You can maintain an overview and work in a structured and systematic way
• You have a desire for and ability to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration and preferably experience with team collaboration
• You have experience with contact person and action plan work
• Gives knowledge of and experience with KRAP and neuro-pedagogy
• You are prepared for changing working hours (7:30-21:00) as well as weekend work every 4th weekend
• You have a driving license and can operate IT at user level

Salary and terms of employment

The position is 32 hours per week. Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. The position is covered by New Pay.

It should be noted that a criminal record check will be obtained in the event of employment.
