About the job

Do you want to lead a very well-run dialysis ward and build on a good working environment? We are looking for a chief nurse with dialysis experience who will set the direction together with the staff and our two deputy heads.

The dialysis department in Holbæk is part of Medicine 1 and has about 38 full-time equivalents. Here specialized nursing combines with care and relationships to patients in long-term treatment courses.

Build on a well-run department

You take over the leadership of a department that functions very well. Your task will be to maintain the good working environment and build on what is already successful. We are seeking a leader who listens to the staff and incorporates their experience into decisions and development, and at the same time can set the framework and direction.

You will be responsible for personnel management, professional quality and daily operations. Together with the two deputy heads you must ensure clear priorities, good planning and an appropriate use of the department's resources. You must be accessible and able to make the necessary decisions.

An important part of your leadership role is the close collaboration with the dialysis satellites in Slagelse and Næstved. Together with the leadership colleagues you contribute to professional sparring, exchange of experience and development of the dialysis area across the three sites.

A new dialysis function for inpatients

On February 1, 2027, we start dialysis in the Nephrology Inpatient Ward for inpatients. As chief nurse, you will play an important role in integrating the new function into everyday life in close collaboration with the inpatient ward, the nephrological doctors and the staff in the Dialysis department.

Your experience with dialysis will be valuable as workflows, competencies and collaboration must fit together across the departments.

We are looking for you

You are a licensed nurse, and experience with dialysis is a requirement. We also value that you:

  • are eager and capable of leading and preferably have leadership experience
  • have a relevant leadership education or the willingness to pursue this
  • are clear and present and follow up on decisions and agreements
  • involve the staff and take responsibility for maintaining a good working environment
  • can prioritize and create an overview of operations, resources and development tasks
  • collaborate constructively across professional groups and departments.

What you get with us

You will have a very well-run department with a good working environment and two deputy heads to work closely with. There is an opportunity to influence the ongoing development of the dialysis area and contribute to the new function at the Nephrology Inpatient Ward.

You will become part of the management group in Medicine 1 with opportunities for sparring with the department leadership and your leadership colleagues about both everyday questions and bigger decisions.
